Virginian cities linked by 100 miles of lights

Individuals planning a city break to Richmond, Hampton, or another Virginian destination over the festive season might enjoy 100 miles of Christmas lights in the state.Car hire could be a necessity for holidaymakers who wish to see the illuminations in their full glory, as the lights are said to link all six of the region's cities.
Over half a million lights will brighten the Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden in Richmond.
The destination also offers botanical decorations, family activities and holiday dinners at the Garden Cafe and in the Robins Tea House.
Willy Wonka is to lead a Candy Cane Lane-themed Holly Days Parade, which is an annual event Hampton.
Santa Claus himself will be present alongside military units and marching bands.
Holidaymakers looking for mild conditions during the festive season could visit the French region of Provence, which general manager of the Le Mas Candille resort Giuseppe Cosmai recently stated is to be much more temperate than other parts of Europe.
