Top reasons to take a Toronto city break this spring

Travellers planning a spring getaway this year should consider a city break in Toronto, according to Ontario Tourism.The agency provided a number of reasons for people to visit the destination, including the annual Victoria Day celebrations, which will run from May 22nd to 24th.
Arguably the highlight of the event is the waterfront fireworks display, although visitors will also be able to enjoy outdoor performances at Ontario Place and other entertainment.
Harry Potter fans planning a Toronto city break this year should pay a visit to the Ontario Science Centre, which from April 9th will host an exhibition celebrating the book and film series.
The display will include a selection of authentic items relating to the stories, which will be shown in locations inspired by the Great Hall, Hagrid's hut and other sets from the movies.
Animal lovers can head to Toronto Zoo to explore the Tundra Trek zone, which provides a home to polar bears, Arctic wolves, snowy owls, foxes, reindeer and more.
Travellers can catch flights to Toronto with carriers including British Airways, Air Canada and Continental Airlines.
