Relax by the pool on a city break in Las Vegas

Travellers planning city breaks in Las Vegas this summer will have plenty of opportunities to cool off at some of the destination's top hotels.

'Pool season' is now officially underway in the city, the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority revealed, with several new attractions and facilities on offer to guests.

At the Four Seasons hotel, holidaymakers can make use of sunscreen stations offering complimentary Evian mist, cold towels and ice water.

Another option for people taking city breaks in Las Vegas this summer is Mandalay Bay Beach, which comprises three pools, a lazy river ride and a sandy area in front of a giant wave pool.

One of the new additions to the destination's visitor offering this year is the Garden of the Gods area at Caesars Palace.

The complex has been expanded to a size of five acres and now features 40 new cabanas, 1,700 deckchairs, five additional pools and swim-up gaming.

People planning city breaks in Las Vegas have the option of catching flights with Virgin Atlantic, United Airlines, US Airways and other carriers.
