Posted on: 30 June 2011

Those looking for a luxury break in Paris have been given a new accommodation option, with the opening of a new hotel in the French capital.

The Mandarin Oriental, Paris opened its doors to the public for the first time earlier this week (June 28th).

Situated on Rue Saint Honore, in the heart of the city's entertainment and high-end retail districts, the hotel offers 138 rooms, which are among the largest in the city.

In terms of gastronomic options, guests can choose from two different restaurants and a bar, as well as a cake shop for a touch of Parisian indulgence.

Furthermore, the hotel's holistic spa features a 14m swimming pool and a comprehensive fitness centre.

To launch the hotel, visitors arriving between July 17th and August 28th will get a €300 cash credit to spend during their stay.

City break visitors looking to head to Paris this summer can choose from a range of flight operators, including British Airways, KLM and Air France.
