New flights to Dallas launched

Tourists considering taking a city break in the US may benefit from an increased range of destination options.

This is because Emirates will launch its inaugural flights to Dallas in less than two weeks.

From February 2nd, the EK 221 plane will leave Dubai daily at 02:45 local time, arriving at Dallas-Fort Worth airport at 09:05 local time.

Executive vice-president of passenger sales worldwide for Emirates Thierry Antinori noted this is the first commercial non-stop service to the Middle East from Dallas in the history of the US city.

"Not only will this new route help promote Dubai and transit markets to America's south and south-west, it will also promote tourism, business and leisure travel," Mr Antinori remarked.

The airline is undergoing constant expansion and customers have also recently benefitted from an improvement in connectivity across Sydney flights, as a new Dublin route has been launched that has improved options across the UK and Australasia.
