Gulf Air 'boasts excellent service'

Passengers who often book flights to Dubai and other destinations with Gulf Air may experience a very high standard of service and performance.A major passenger survey conducted by the International Air Transport Association rated the carrier as being 'excellent' on both of these considerations.
Overall satisfaction also grew from 3.76 (on a scale of one to five) in 2010 to 3.84 last year.
Gulf Air's performance was recently honoured by FlightStats, as the airline became a finalist for the On-Time Performance Service Awards.
Chief executive of the official national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain Samer Majali said he considers it to be essential the quality of services and products offered to travellers are assessed on a regular basis.
"Customers have become more discerning and their travel preferences keep changing in tune with their business, social and lifestyle developments," he explained, adding: "The survey results clearly show that we are customer-focused."
