Food lovers looking to take a city break Stateside have been advised to visit New York this July for the NYC Summer Restaurant Week.

A broad range of eateries will be taking part in the 20th annual promotion, which runs from July 11th to 24th, with lunch available for as little as $24 (£15) and dinner from just $35, Mondays to Fridays.

The Hotel @ Times Square is offering city break loving Brits a convenient base for exploring the Midtown Manhattan area and its numerous restaurants, with rooms available from $199 per night.

Amenities on offer include free daily continental breakfast, free Wi-Fi internet access, free national phone calls, a fitness centre and a bar.

Brits looking to book flights to New York for this annual restaurant festival can choose from a range of airlines, including Virgin Atlantic, British Airways, bmi and Continental Airlines.
