Flybe to offer range of new flights this winter

Flybe has announced that it will operate new flights to several destinations as part of its 2010-11 winter schedule.A total of 15 new routes are set to be introduced, including services to Brest and La Rochelle in France from Southampton and links to Bergerac, Faro, Rennes, Hannover and Norwich from Exeter.
The carrier will also operate flights to Salzburg, Geneva, Chambery and other destinations that could prove popular among people planning skiing holidays or winter city breaks.
For those searching for some sun, Flybe will provide services to the Iberian hotspots of Alicante, Malaga and Faro.
Mike Rutter, the carrier's chief commercial officer, said: "Despite industry challenges over the past year and with other airlines limiting their growth, Flybe has been able to step in and fill many gaps and continue building capacity.
"We're pleased to be able to offer such a wide choice of regional routes this coming winter including the 15 new routes that, due to popular demand, we've been able to now carry over to the winter schedule."
The airline will operate up to 3,214 weekly flights on 143 routes during the winter period.
