Finnair announces cooperation with Flybe

Flights to Helsinki offered by Finnair are to be combined with services made available by Flybe.The two airlines have announced they will cooperate to manage routes formerly run by Finncomm.
Finnair's AY3000 flights between Helsinki and Joensuu, Kuopio, Tampere and Vaasa in Finland will be taken over by Flybe, as will select routes between Warsaw, Vilnius, Tallinn, Stuttgart, Riga, Manchester, Geneva, Helsinki and Hamburg.
Flybe services will be available at a charge - customers paying for the additional services will be able to enjoy access to lounges - and Finnair standards will apply as usual.
Self-service check-in and onboard lounge facilities will remain available to Finnair customers on domestic flights to Riga, which are one class.
Last month, the carrier hosted a flight to Singapore themed on the Angry Birds mobile game.
Players were able to compete for the Asian Challenge title on specially programmed tablet devices distributed to passengers.
