Posted on: 07 May 2010

City breaks in Dublin could be the ideal option this year for people who enjoy nothing more than sampling quality cuisine.

The fifth annual Taste of Dublin festival will be held in the picturesque surroundings of Iveagh Gardens from June 10th to 13th.

According to its organisers, the event is "the world's greatest restaurant festival".

People taking city breaks in Dublin will be able to visit Iveagh Gardens to try food and drink from some of the Irish capital's leading restaurants, such as Venu Brasserie, Town Bar and Grill, Roly's Bistro and Pichet.

Aspiring chefs who would like to improve their own culinary skills will be able to attend workshops and advice sessions to pick up some tips from the experts.

Visitors can also head to the Taste of Thailand area for some exotic encounters with the Asian country's food and culture.

Flybe, Air France and Aer Lingus are among the carriers that operate flights to Dublin.
