BA launches new flights to Paris

British Airways has begun its new flights from London Heathrow to Paris Orly as it meets demand for trips to the popular city break destination.The airline will offer a total of 12 services a week between the two airports, in addition to its existing service to Paris Charles de Gaulle.
Colm Lacy, British Airways' general manager of network planning, said: "This is an excellent addition to our short haul network, allowing business travellers easy access to the Paris financial district which is close to Orly airport."
He added: "Customers will also be able to make smooth connections on to BA subsidiary OpenSkies' services between Orly and the United States, and on to oneworld partner, Iberia."
Passengers will be able to choose from two classes of fare - the Euro Traveller and Club Europe on the fleet of A319s, A320s and A321s.
Orly airport has its own rail station with regular services that connect to the city of Paris.
