Air France expands medium-haul routes
Posted on: 09 December 2011
Travellers who regularly book flights with Air France will have a greater choice of destinations next year. This is because the carrier has announced new routes will be launched from Marseille, Nice and Toulouse.
Routes originating in Nice will go to Barcelona, Istanbul and Tel Aviv, while flights starting in Toulouse will travel on to Prague and Tunis.
The firm will have a portfolio of 1,200 weekly flights from these locations as a result of this development.
Onboard, passengers will have access to a range of French and foreign newspapers that will be provided for free at the boarding gate.
"Air France has strong potential for success with this project: skilled and motivated staff, a young fleet and a constantly developing network," commented chairman and chief executive of the company Alexandre de Juniac.
An excellent e-reputation also stands in its favour, as it received a prize recognising its positive response to customer enquiries though social media websites at the 25th Grand Prix hosted by UJJEF.
