Air Canada offering new London flights

People planning a trip to Canada this summer will have a wider range of flights to choose from following the recent launch of a new service from London Heathrow.Air Canada will operate a non-stop link from the London hub to St John's, the capital of Newfoundland and Labrador, until September 26th.
The route was launched following close collaboration with the local community and airport authority in St John's, the airline revealed.
Marcel Forget, Air Canada's vice president of network planning, said: "We hope the support for this route will enable us to operate it again next year and even extend it year-round.
"Air Canada is proud to serve Newfoundland and Labrador with safe and reliable air transportation since 1942 and we need the support of the community to ensure the success of this service as well as look ahead for new opportunities."
The flights will be operated by an Airbus A319 aircraft offering 120 seats in two classes.
Air Canada operates services to several other destinations in the North American country, such as Toronto, Montreal, Calgary and Vancouver.
