Our prices are only correct at the time of the search.
Airlines cannot guarantee flight prices until you have completed the booking process. This means that fares can change due to availability with customers who have booked and paid.
Prices are not guaranteed until full payment has been completed and confirmation invoice has been emailed to you.

A 2% surcharge applies to all Credit cards and American Express.

Airline tickets are not transferable under any circumstances.
Name changes are not allowed on a booking even if the ticket is not yet issued.
Most airline charge an airline reissue fee to change dates, minimum of £75 per person.

Every booking is different and depends on the type of ticket and the airline you choose to fly with.
The following cancellation fees may apply to the ticket you have purchased:
Before Ticketing:
Amendment change of date or itinerary: £25.00 per person.
Cancellation of Booking: loss of deposit, minimum of £75 per person.
After Ticketing:
Most tickets carry 100% cancellation fee.
A change of any date on your itinerary will be treated as full cancellation, the 100% cancellation fee if appropriate will apply to your booking.
Some airline charge a Cancellation fee. Cancellation fee on partially refundable airline tickets; from £75 to a maximum of £250. Some airlines allow a change of return date for a fee.
A partially used ticket has very little refund value, if you have not used parts of your tickets please return the documents to us, we will endeavour to recover a partial refund, if applicable.
Please note that we act as agents of the airlines, you have to abide by their rules and conditions.
We need written confirmation by email that you do need to cancel your booking before we can proceed.
If you have to cancel a booking, let us know as soon as possible. Sometimes it's possible to get a refund on unused tickets - but unfortunately we can't guarantee this.
We'll then process the refund for you with the airline and send you an email letting you know how much will be credited to your card. Every refund is different and depends on the type of ticket and the airline you choose to fly with.
Unfortunately, refunds cannot be paid until authorisation has been received back from the airline which takes approx 6 weeks to process.

When there is a minor change to the time of the flight i.e. within one hour of the original time, then we will email the new details to you and you can check-in with your original e-ticket.
In the event of a big change i.e. more than one hour of the original time, we will contact you to advise and discuss all options that are available.
We recommend all our clients to Check in online to confirm all the flight times within 24 hours prior to your flight via your chosen airlines website.
All flights tickets are issued and emailed as an E ticket.
Major Travel will generally issue and email your E tickets within 2 weeks of confirmation of your booking. However some airlines do not require the E tickets to be issued straight away.
Once you have received your E tickets, please print a copy and present this and your passport to the airline check in staff at the airport 3 hours before your departure flight time.
Please contact us if you are travelling in the next 5 days and have still not yet received your E ticket by email.
Reconfirmation of flight is not necessary, however we do recommend that all clients check in online 24 hours prior to your departure flight time.
We recommend all our clients to Check in online as this is an easier way to save queuing time at the airport. On arrival at the airport, passengers who have already checked in online only need to drop their baggage off in the appropriate area, before proceeding to security and customs.
You can check in online using your airline booking reference via your Airlines travel website between 24 hours to 1 or 2 hours before your departure flight time.
Check in time for International flights outside Europe is at least 3 hours prior to departure flight time.
Please check in at least 2 hours prior to departure for all European flights.
When you buy an ATOL protected air holiday package or flight from Major Travel Plc you will receive a Confirmation Invoice from us (or our authorised agent through which you booked) confirming your arrangements and your protection under our Air Travel Organiser's Licence number 2933. In the unlikely event of our insolvency, the CAA will ensure that you are not stranded abroad and will arrange to refund any money you have paid to us for an advance booking.

Unfortunately Major Travel cannot provide airline tickets for unaccompanied minors, due to restrictions of discounted airline tickets.
From January 12, 2009, all qualified VWP travellers will be required to obtain electronic travel authorization prior to boarding an air or sea carrier to the United States. Travellers who do not receive travel authorization prior to their departure may be denied boarding, experience delays or be denied admission into the United States. Applications may be submitted at anytime prior to travel, but no less than 72 hours prior to departure.
