Finnair Business Class
On the aircraft there are a number of opportunities for working during the flight, especially in Business Class, where the spacious seat, good legroom and tabletop create a personal and tranquil working space. A wide range of newspapers gives passengers the chance to keep abreast of the latest news and other topical events.

The seats of Boeing MD-11 aircraft are equipped with a power socket, providing power for a laptop computer. You can buy a Targus Universal Auto Air Power Adapter kit from the Finnair Tax-Free Plus shop at Helsinki-Vantaa Airport and on long-haul routes. Computers can be used only when the "Fasten safety belt" sign has been switched off. Further information about the use of computers can be found in the Blue Wings magazine in your seat pocket.

On Boeing MD-11 aircraft there is a telefax at the Purser's workstation. The Purser can use this to send passengers' messages to the ground. It is not possible to receive faxes. The sending of faxes is priced at the same level as the use of the satellite telephones.

The reverse side of the entertainment system's hand control functions as a satellite telephone receiver. The telephone provides instructions in Finnish, Swedish and English. English-language telephone instructions can also be found from the entertainment system’s telephone menu and in the Blue Wings magazine.

In addition to the telephones at every seat in Business Class, there are several public phones in the doorway areas of the Boeing MD-11 aircraft. Telephone instructions are given in Blue Wings and in English on the wall next to the telephone. The telephone also provides instructions in Finnish, Swedish and English. On the aircraft, calls can be made on the satellite telephones to the ground using the credit cards.
