The aeroplanes feature 180 degree flat-bed seats which are equipped for work, sleep or rest and the number of seats in first class reduced from 16 to 12, so your flight is as relaxing as possible.
Air India passengers flying first class on B777 aircraft on the India-UK route can also enjoy the luxury of flat bed seats, while first class passengers on all flights can experience dining from Royal Doulton fine bone china crockery.
Air India has ordered 68 new aircraft to be delivered between 2007 and 2012, so passengers can take advantage of even more cheap flights.
The new aircraft include eight B777-200LR medium capacity ultra long-range aircraft, 15 B777-300ER medium capacity long-range aircraft; and 27 B787 medium capacity long-range aircraft.
In the meantime, Air India has leased 21 extra aeroplanes, including 12 Airbus 310s and three B777 - 200ER aircraft to keep up with demand for its great value flights and airfares.
