The
airline currently operates from Tripoli to 16 international
destinations. These include London, Paris, Brussels
and Geneva, and key destinations in West Africa such as Accra, Lagos and
Khartoum. Afriqiyah Airways will commence new African services to Douala
in Cameroon and Bangui, capital of the Central African Republic, in addition
to flights to Amsterdam and Rome.
Afriqiyah
Airways launched its London service in 2004 and the new appointment of
Aviareps coincides with this autumn's extension of its schedule between
London-Gatwick and Tripoli to five non-stop flights per week.
All
Afriqiyah flights are by Airbus A320 aircraft, offering business and economy
class. Between Gatwick and Tripoli there is a convenient daily schedule
(except Wednesday/Thursday), with flights departing 11.55 arriving Tripoli
116.45, and returning on the same days from Tripoli at 08.20 arriving
Gatwick 11.00. There are also convenient connecting schedules to almost
all Afriqiyah destinations in Africa.
