US Airways – Flight and Travel Information
As one of the United States' most popular and well-known airlines, US Airways offers a variety of flight destinations at comparatively cheap prices. Passengers travelling with US Airways can fly to more than 240 destinations around the world. Destinations available to passengers include Lisbon in Portugal, Milan in Italy and Oahu in Hawaii.
In July 2009, US Airways introduced daily non-stop flights to Tel Aviv in Israel and in 2010, it began its first flights to Halifax in Nova Scotia. US Airways is part of the Star Alliance network of airlines, which was established in 1997 and offers more than 15,000 daily flights to 842 cities in 152 countries.
Other members of the alliance include Air Canada, bmi, Lufthansa and Scandinavian Airlines.
US Airways has its own frequent flyer rewards scheme, called Dividend Miles, which offers an exclusive range of benefits to the carrier's faithful passengers meaning they can save even more on the cheap flight tickets offered by the company.
In August 2008, the airline pledged that despite the economic turmoil it would continue to offer passengers on the scheme the items they value most such as exemption from fees on choice seats and baggage, complimentary First Class upgrades and the "best upgrade window in the industry".

The airline has a fleet of 20 different models of aircraft - from the 34-seater Saab 340 to the Airbus A350 which can seat up to 330 passengers. Other aircraft models include the Embraer 190, Canadair Regional Jet and deHavilland Dash-8 as well as several Boeing and Airbus models.

In 2010, the airline introduced wireless internet access to some of its flights. This means that passengers on one of US Airways' Airbus A321 craft can log on to the internet via a laptop or Wi-Fi enabled mobile device.
US Airways also gives its passengers the choice of checking in for the flight online in order to provide them with even more convenience. Online flight check-in is available as early as 24 hours before the flight departure time and can be done as close as 60 minutes before the flight takes off.
